When Can I Enrol?
Enrolments and inductions are conducted throughout the year.
What Do I Need To Apply?
You will generally need recent school reports or certificates and identification if available. A Pre-Entry Test is not compulsory; it is used only when eligibility is not clear from your records. Students provide their own suitable device and internet access. No tablet is supplied.
Do I Have To Sit A Pre-Entry Test?
The Pre-Entry Test is not compulsory. Kundu FODE uses it only in some cases, when it is not clear from your school reports or certificates which grade or subjects you are eligible for. If it applies to you, the FODE team will let you know after you apply.
Can I Study While Working?
Yes. Kundu FODE is designed for people who need to study around work or family commitments. It covers Grades 7–12, including upgrading for Grades 8, 10 and 12, through flexible, online-supported study; applicable attendance, assessment and examination requirements still apply. Tell us the last grade you completed and the FODE team will advise where you can start.
Can I Upgrade My Grade 8, Grade 10 or Grade 12 Results?
Yes. Kundu FODE supports upgrading for Grade 8, Grade 10 and Grade 12 results.
How Long Does FODE Take?
The time it takes depends on your grade level, the number of subjects you take, and your personal study pace. You will receive personalised placement advice after submitting your application. National examinations follow the official Department of Education schedule.
How Do Examinations Work?
Students sit examinations according to official FODE and Department of Education requirements and schedule. Department of Education examination fees are separate and set by the Department of Education.
